Oregon Culinary Institute

Oregon Culinary Institute offers three professional programs to prepare our graduates for exciting food service careers. The Culinary Arts diploma program can be completed in 32-weeks with students spending 24 weeks in the kitchen/classrooms and 360 hours on an externship. The Associate of Applied Science degree program can be completed in 62-weeks with students spending the first 24 weeks in the kitchen/classrooms and 360 hours on an externship then completing 30 weeks of general education and business classes. The Baking & Pastry certificate program can be completed in 20 weeks. Our professional chef instructors concentrate on teaching the skills and knowledge employers are looking for in new hires. Hands-on experience in both the Institute's open-to-the-public restaurant and a 360-hour externship solidify the foundations students gain in the classroom.

Financial Aid & Cost:

Financial aid options include federal loan and grant programs as well as scholarships. Financial aid officers work individually with each student to determine the most appropriate financial aid package.
